Investing alongside the Viking Fund can offer significant benefits to co-investors. We can:

The Viking Fund makes investments of between £10,000 and £100,000 and is managed by a team of highly experienced, technology investors and fund managers. Each investment the Viking Fund makes must be matched by an equivalent investment from private investors.

For example, if you are looking to invest £50,000 in equity or as a loan, the Fund will match your £50,000 on the same (or better) terms. This gives you the opportunity to complete larger deals, or to reduce your risks by spreading your capital over more investments.

The Fund is open to applications from almost all industrial sectors. Businesses must be commercially viable and seeking capital to expand. We are unable to invest to rescue failing businesses.

The Fund can participate in funding rounds of between £20,000 and £250,000, well below the levels usually considered by venture capital funds. The Fund can also make a follow-on investment (up to a maximum aggregate of £200,000 per company) providing it is matched on equal terms.
